Content Support

As a storytelling brand, YETI puts out a lot of content. It’s always fun to work on copy support. Here are a few fun ones that show off the brand’s versatility in tone and style while still being true to the voice.

Number5: GW’s BBQ

Go just as far south in Texas as you can and you’ll find us at number five on Texas Monthly’s Top 10 BBQ Joints — GW’s BBQ (@gwsbbq).

Until now, the Valley has been mostly known for citrus, South Padre Island, and world-class birding. But Pitmaster George Watts III and his family have worked hard offering the “total package” of meats, sides, deserts, and atmosphere, wanting to bring the spotlight to the Valley for BBQ. And that they have, with masterfully crafted sausages, Sundays-only fried chicken, and a menu that changes seasonally, giving locals, beach-goers, and avian enthusiasts alike a good excuse to keep lining up.

Now after earning their spot in the top 5, it’s safe to say that the Valley is known for citrus, South Padre Island, world-class birding, and GW’s BBQ. 🍊🌴🦜🐷 #BuiltForTheWild

Number 6: InterStellar BBQ

Austin is calling, y’all. Join us in YETI’s hometown for number six on Texas Monthly’s Top 10 BBQ Joints – InterStellar BBQ @interstellarbbq

Calling InterStellar’s BBQ “out of this world” is too accurate, but too easy.

With a focus on quality ingredients, clean smoke from post oak, and keeping it low and slow, Chef and Pitmaster John Bates has earned adjectives rarely seen in the BBQ realm. InterStellar’s peach-tea-glazed pork belly was described by Texas Monthly as “flawless.” The Frito-pie sausage: a stroke of genius. And we do believe (checks notes) it’s the first time that cheese grits have ever been described as “enchanting.” ✨

Congrats to John and his team for their second appearance in the top 10. From one Austinite to another: We love you so much.
